About Julie Russell
Julie Russell, RN, is a highly experienced registered nurse with more than 35 years of specialised experience in cardiovascular care. Since 1991 she has served in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts, where she plays a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex cardiac conditions. Throughout her career she has worked alongside leading cardiologists, assisting with a wide range of interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures. That experience has given her a deep working understanding of cardiovascular disease, patient assessment, procedural care and critical care nursing. Julie earned her registered nursing degree from the Somerville Hospital School of Nursing, completing her education between 1969 and 1972, and has remained committed to advancing patient care and maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice throughout her career. She is also an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) instructor, reflecting a sustained commitment to educating healthcare professionals and promoting excellence in emergency cardiac care, and has been associated with the Bedford Board of Health. Known for professionalism, compassion and an unwavering commitment to patient care, she has built a distinguished career spanning more than three decades.
