Why do veterans need advocacy on mesothelioma claims?
Veterans account for a disproportionate share of mesothelioma diagnoses because asbestos was used throughout Navy ships, shipyards, barracks and vehicles for decades. VA claims and asbestos trust or civil claims run on entirely separate tracks with different evidence requirements, and pursuing one does not replace the other.
What is Matt's role with Mesothelioma-Lung-Cancer.org?
He serves on our advisory board, contributing expertise on VA benefits navigation and veterans advocacy.
