Biography
Dr. Marcelo DaSilva is the Director of the Mesothelioma International Treatment Program at AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida. He is one of a small number of surgeons in the United States who treats both pleural and peritoneal mesothelioma, performing pleurectomy with decortication for pleural disease and cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC for peritoneal disease. Dr. DaSilva trained at Brigham and Women's Hospital and has built a nationally recognized mesothelioma program that draws patients from across the Southeast and internationally.
