Dr. Sai Yendamuri is the Chair of the Department of Thoracic Surgery and Director of the Thoracic Surgery Research Laboratory at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York. He is a recognized pioneer in the use of photodynamic therapy (PDT) for mesothelioma, which uses light-activated drugs to destroy residual cancer cells after surgical resection.
