So I got diagnosed in December and now I'm starting to think about the legal side of things. My exposure was all those years working on brake pads at the shop, plus we tore out some old insulation in the basement back in '98. Anyway, I keep seeing these big numbers online but I have no idea if that's real or just marketing.
Does anybody actually know what cases are settling for these days? I'm stage 1, had the EPP back in February and recovery went pretty smooth. I'm not trying to get rich or anything, just want to know what the ballpark is so I can figure out if it's worth going through all the legal stuff or if I should just focus on staying healthy.
Anybody willing to share what they got or what their attorney told them about settlement ranges? I'm in Michigan if that matters.
